By Faith Consultancy is a Tonga-based consultancy led by Tevita Vahai, MCBI, focused on helping people, businesses, NGOs, and community groups build practical skills that create real progress. With a background that connects finance, consultancy, leadership, and training, the consultancy is built around one clear purpose: helping clients make better decisions, build stronger capability, and move forward with confidence.
Our work is grounded in practical support, not theory alone. We deliver training and advisory services across financial literacy, business planning, entrepreneurship support, financial consumer protection, business continuity planning, and digital capability. Our engagements include training for women in business, youth and community empowerment, NGO support, and learning initiatives connected to wider development efforts across Tonga and the Pacific.

Tevita Vahai, MCBI
Chartered Banker · Consultant · Nuku'alofa, Tonga
Tevita Vahai, MCBI, is the founder and lead consultant of By Faith Consultancy. A Chartered Banker and senior consultant with over 15 years of experience in commercial and central banking across Tonga and the Pacific, he brings deep expertise in finance, regulation, strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and advisory work.
Qualifications
- Master of Science with Distinction in Banking and Finance — Bangor University, United Kingdom
- Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics — University of the South Pacific
- Chartered Banker Diploma — Chartered Banker Institute, Scotland
His professional experience includes senior leadership roles at Bank of South Pacific Tonga, including Acting Country Head and Head of Corporate Banking, as well as key regulatory leadership roles at the National Reserve Bank of Tonga, where he contributed to financial system regulation, supervision, and policy development.
Through By Faith Consultancy, Tevita now supports businesses, NGOs, and communities with practical expertise in banking and finance, financial literacy, business systems, and capacity building.
Latu Vahai
Consultant · Systems & Training · Nuku'alofa, Tonga
Latu Vahai is a consultant with experience in leadership, human resources, training, organisational planning, and practical systems development. He brings over 19 years of military service — including senior leadership and operational roles — and applies the same disciplined, solutions-focused approach to helping businesses, organisations, and institutions improve performance, strengthen systems, and build capability.
His expertise includes workforce and administrative systems, training and capacity building, operational planning, project coordination, and practical digital tools such as Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and business process solutions.
